The NEC Group today announced that it would express its condolences for the victims of the Sumatra offshore earthquake and Indian Ocean tsunami by donating a total of 10 million yen for damage caused by the disaster. The aid will be distributed after assessing the condition of each affected region.

In addition, NEC will carry out fund-raising efforts with employees in collaboration with the labor union. Similar measures will be taken by each Group company worldwide.
