The wide temperature versions of the ShieldPro FC-N21S will
work from –20°C upto +45°C allowing for use
in a wider range of environments than the standard model. The wide
temperature model has all the same features as the standard model and
is designed to resist water and dust ingress inline with IP54
specifications and to be resistant to physical shocks.
A 12.1” backlit touch screen, along with a fully
convertible profile, allows for ease of viewing and data entry during
field work. Battery life is an important factor when working in the
field and with the large capacity battery supplied as standard with the
ShieldPro you will achieve between 3 to 8hrs up time, allowing you to
complete your task without having to search for alternative power
options.
Security has also been given serious consideration in the
development of the ShieldPro, and as such there are a number of
features available. Incorporated as standard is a TPM (Trusted Platform
Module) which allows secure encryption of your data. Also provided as
standard is a Kensington lock socket allowing you to reduce the chances
of unauthorised removal of your ShieldPro. Optionally the ShieldPro can
be ordered with a fingerprint reader allowing for another layer of
security when accessing applications or data held on your ShieldPro.
In the unexpected event of a
failure with your ShieldPro
laptop, it is backed by a 3year ‘collect and
return’ warranty.
