ShieldPRO is NEC’s latest rugged PC built to
withstand even harsh
environmental conditions. It truly represents the evolution of notebook
computers that are more durable and easier to use in the field. For use
in a wide-temperature-range between -20℃to 45℃, the ShieldPRO can be
used as a rugged tablet PC or panel computer by turning the LCD over.
It is equipped with various standard securityfunctions such as a
security chip (TPM), HD data erase utility (BIOS) and some models

Virtual PC Center - A Better PC for the

NEC's new Virtual PC Center (VPCC) is a complete thin
client solution, with full PC functionality including multimedia
capabilities, designed to replace the PC desktop. The entire VPCC
system is "virtual" because a user can access their own
Microsoft® Windows® desktop environment via any VPCC
workstation. This solution is able to deliver the same user experience
as a traditional PC, with the security and IT management benefits of a
